Syftet med unders&ouml;kningen &auml;r att belysa betydelsen av deras erfarenheter i arbetslivet f&ouml;r integrationen i samh&auml;llet och f&ouml;r den sociala och personliga identiteten. En viktig fr&aring;gest&auml;llning &auml;r hur individen f&ouml;rm&aring;r att &ouml;verbrygga skillnaderna mellan det gamla och det nya i sitt liv.<br \/>Unders&ouml;kningen visar att integrationen blir m&ouml;jlig och anpassning till samh&auml;llet sker utan st&ouml;rre avbrott i identiteten, d&aring; invandrarakademikerna erh&aring;ller arbeten som motsvarar deras utbildning fr&aring;n utlandet.
