En rad olika akt&ouml;rer intresserar sig f&ouml;r id&eacute;n och arbetar f&ouml;r att sprida och vidareutveckla den i Sverige. N&auml;r m&aring;ngfaldsid&eacute;n sprids i Sverige hamnar etnicitetsaspekten i fokus och id&eacute;n ses som ett nytt och anv&auml;ndbart s&auml;tt att hantera organisations- och integrationsfr&aring;gor. Spridningsprocessen visar emellertid p&aring; de problem som finns n&auml;r en id&eacute; som har sina r&ouml;tter i en best&auml;md samh&auml;llskontext f&ouml;rs &ouml;ver till en ny milj&ouml;. <br \/>I studien behandlas m&aring;ngfaldsid&eacute;ns spridning i Sverige p&aring; tv&aring; olika niv&aring;er. Den f&ouml;rsta delstudien unders&ouml;ker hur id&eacute;n introduceras, sprids och modifieras p&aring; nationell niv&aring; under 1990-talet.
