Den h&auml;r avhandlingen tar sig an detta litteraturvetenskapliga problem genom att visa hur meningsproduktionen bygger p&aring; ikonicitet, p&aring; en likhetsrelation mellan tecknet och det som tecknet uppfattas st&aring; f&ouml;r. Begreppet &auml;r h&auml;mtat fr&aring;n och diskuteras i n&auml;ra anslutning till den amerikanske filosofen och semiotikern C. S. Peirce.<\/p>\n<p>Genom de fyra kapitlen behandlas versform och ikonicitet i relation till bildspr&aring;k, intertextualitet, metapoesi och emotionalitet. Ut&ouml;ver de m&aring;nga diktexemplen &auml;ven i de mer teoretiska resonemangen g&ouml;rs tolv l&auml;ngre diktl&auml;sningar. Fokus ligger p&aring; svenskspr&aring;kig lyrik fr&aring;n de senaste hundra &aring;ren, p&aring; s&aring;v&auml;l bunden som s&aring; kallad fri vers.
