Two German \u2013 die Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and die S\u00fcddeutsche Zeitung \u2013 and two Swedish newspapers \u2013 Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet \u2013 are studied. For each newspaper, two genres, news and background material, are analysed. In total, 80 articles are investigated, equally distributed between the two languages, the two genres and the four newspapers.
